Not your friend

Last night I was on my way to some church meetings and I hadn't eaten anything since lunch. I thought I'd stop by a gas station to get a drink and to grab something to munch on... a granola bar, some ruffles... ya know- something to sustain me. I had one of those retard moments when I looked on the rack and thought to myself--"yeah, Flaming Hot Cheetos sound really good right now!"

So I grabbed the Cheetos and a Coke and was on my way to my meetings. I woke up this morning with an upset stomach and didn't know why. The reason just hit me about 2 minutes ago that Flaming Hot Cheetos are NOBDODY'S friend. My stomach is pissed at me AND the Cheetos.

Just a warning, steer clear of that Flamer, Chester Cheeto.

Recipe for Disaster

Why does Josh have a Little Mermaid kick-board when he has 3 sons? If you ask me, I say he's got them on a path straight to no good!

Follow up to last blog

CONTRARY TO COMMON BELIEF, MATTHEW AND I DID NOT KISS. My English grammar skills are lacking.

Holiday Wonders

What a great Holiday season it is! My activities were many and experiences were uplifting.

Christmas was awesome-- My dad still gives the best presents, my brother Brad is still funny, my brother Matt is still fat, my neice, Ella, is still my favorite, Mom is still a bit nutty, and the turkey at Brad and Aly's was outstanding!

I spent Christmas Eve with Heather's family and I must say--they treated me just right. Heather's mom bought me some U of U pajama pants and I've gotta say that it definitely set the right tone for my Christmas Spirit! Heather gave me all sorts of stuff- most importantly, the first 2 seasons of "The Office" which pretty much helped her and I to pass any downtime.

Church was only an hour. 'Nough said!

Tithing is up to date! Whew!!!!

New Years was also pretty good-- no drama, I got my first New Year's kiss, as did Matthew with his own new GF, I played some good ping-pong, ate a lot of bean dip a lot of brownies, a lot of seven layer dip, and rang in the new year with a bang!

2007 is bound to be a year for greatness!

An Epic Film

Something special happened today. Something happened that will live on, thanks to the timeless memory that Hollywood provides for us….

Today, I was indeed able to see Rocky, the 6th version of the epic story. I will admit that it was not as good as when he fought Clubber Lang or Ivan the Russian murderer, but never the less, it was closure to a story that has lived in my heart—as well as many others’ hearts—as a tale that might be the key to all happiness and success. “It’s not about the punches, but about taking the punches and to keep moving forward.” Rocky, appearing to not be too bright, does inspire us with these words. To Rocky, I say—Thanks, Stallion.

I will never be the same.

Rocky- A question of Patriotism

There are two types of people in this world—the true Americans that like Rocky Balboa, and the Americans that don’t. These that don’t appreciate a true story of hard work and heroics are those that also usually associate with those at highway rest stops. What kind of American can’t appreciate this piece of American culture that formed that which is our present society? Granted, it’s a different generation. Rocky started is legendary career in the 70s and 80s (hence the knee-high striped socks), but this true Italian Stallion should be a role model and true example to every man—age 5 to 150. Rocky is a timeless role model of how to beat the streets, marry an sweet-spirit and blow all your money in the stock market. Not smart, but what a fighter!!
